Yesterday, OK! magazine reported that Angelina had been replaced as the face of St. John, for whom she’d been modeling since September 2005, with a source close to the company allegedly saying: “Putting celebrities in campaigns is the biggest trend right now, everyone is doing it, but it didn’t work for St. John with Angelina,” a fashion industry insider explained to OK! magazine. “The people that wear St. John just didn’t relate to her.”These claims have been denied - with a source at St. John tellling Us magazine that Jolie is still a spokesmodel for the company.The source said: “St. John has not made any decisions regarding upcoming campaigns,”“Angelina is starring in our current ads and just shot for Spring so she definitely still is our face.”When Jolie signed with St. John in September 2005, the company’s CEO, Richard Cohen, had nothing but praise for the actress.“Angelina Jolie embodies so many qualities of what St. John represents,” said Cohen. “She is strong, independent and dynamic. She’s a mother, actress and a philanthropist.”Us magazine also reports, that at the time of Jolie signing with the luxury fashion brand, she released a statement saying that she was eager to partner with the clothing line. “I am a working mother who has set goals to accomplish a lot in this world,” she said. “I want my wardrobe to be beautiful, sexy and comfortable — all at the same time. St. John is all of those things.”

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie called for the world to get its "priorities in order" Wednesday, saying that the amount of money spent in Iraq in just a few hours could educate thousands of children."To put things into perspective and maybe help to understand why we maybe need to adjust the way we're doing things in the world, the conflict in Iraq has displaced over four million people," Jolie told reporters in New York.She said an appeal by UNICEF, the UN's fund for children, and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to address the educational needs of many of those children was dwarfed by the cost of US military spending in Iraq."The entire appeal equals about eight hours of current spending in Iraq. So just a few hours would send 150,000 children to school," she said."Nothing wins more hearts and minds and nothing gives more freedom than education and nothing is a better deterrent for conflict than an educated child," she added, urging the world to get its "priorities in order."Jolie, who as well as being an Oscar-winning actress is a UN goodwill ambassador, was unveiling an almost 150-million-dollar programme to help educate one million children in conflict, refugee and emergency situations.The announcement came at the Clinton Global Initiative organized by former US president Bill Clinton and dedicated to addressing some of the most pressing global challenges including global warming, epidemics and poverty.Last month Jolie visited Iraqi refugees stranded on the border between Iraq and Syria, as part of a visit to the region.It is not the first time Jolie has made critical comments on the Iraq war."Our priorities are quite strange," she said in an interview in June, referring to the money spent on war and not "dealing with situations that could end up in conflict if left unassisted, and then cost more."She has previously compared war spending to the money made available to dealing with HIV/AIDS.

Angelina Jolie gives her son Maddox $50 every time he loses a tooth -- and allows him spend it on whatever he wants.The actress, 32, recently rewarded adopted child Maddox with $100 after two of his front teeth fell out -- and Jolie vows to give as generously to her other children Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1.A source tells Britain's Daily Star, "Angelina plays the tooth fairy and gives Maddox a bit more than the usual $5 per tooth, and he can spend it on anything he wants to."So far he's lost four teeth -- that's $200. Not bad for a 6-year-old kid."

Actress Angelina Jolie will meet U.K. Foreign Secretary David Miliband in New York this week to discuss global diplomacy, British officials announced on Tuesday.The 32-year-old actress, who is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, has agreed to the meeting, which seeks to soften the tone of global relations after Britain became involved in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The star will also appear on a revamped Foreign Office Web site.A spokeswoman for Miliband says, "He will meet Angelina Jolie in New York for talks."

 
In a time when skinny celebs are being scrutinized in the media while also being seemingly worshiped, actress Angelina Jolie spoke up about the different factors contributing to her own frail figure."I like to think that I'm smart about my diet, but there are other factors," the actress told U.K. Cosmo magazine."Breastfeeding has kept me slim -- so has the worry and grief over the death of my mother."

According to reports, Hollywood’s hottest couple, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie want to add to their “rainbow” family, by adopting a Burmese child.A source close to the couple has said that Angelina Jolie is “increasingly despondent” about the progress she is making in helping the Third World.The source added : “Angelina feels she is barely making a dent in the suffering she sees throughout the Third World as she travels incognito to different countries as a United Nations representative.“She wants to step up her action in what she calls Red Alert areas, the most seriously troubled, war-torn areas in the world.“She’s in talks to go into Burma and help with students and AIDS victims who are suffering terribly.”Brad and Angelina, if you didn’t already know, have four children - 3 adopted: Maddox,  Zahara & Pax , and Biological daughter Shiloh.And The Daily Mail has reported that Jolie had been talking to a monk about a safe travel route through the military state and a visit to an orphanage.She allegedly said that she believes by adopting another girl, it would balance her family and a child from Burma would fit into its racial mix.Angelina has enlisted the help of Dr Jane Aronson, an adoption specialist who runs the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.Angelina Jolie was recently quoted as saying: “Ever since I was about 12, I’ve always wanted to adopt – I don’t know why. We want to have a big, big family.”

Angelina Jolie has reportedly refused to celebrate Thanksgiving with Brad Pitt’s family.According to reports Jolie is doing anything she can to get out of going to Thanksgiving dinner at Pitt’s families home in Springfeild, Missouri. An alleged friend of Jolie’s says that the actress is even telling everyone she doesn’t celebrate the holiday.This is the most recent reports of Jolie’s behavior. After reports emerged that Angelina Jolie could be pregnant, doctors insist that it’s not possible because of her extremely thin frame. Jolie looked as if she had a baby bump in photos, sparking rumors that she and Brad Pitt were expecting another child.However, doctors say Jolie is to thin to conceive. There has been much speculation as to why Jolie has lost so much weight. Some reports claimed she had and eating disorder; others claimed she had an incurable disease, but Jolie insists that she is only mourning the death of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand.“Angelina is desperate to get pregnant again, but doctors say she is just too thin,” a source says.Brad Pitt recently said he and Jolie were ready for their fifth child, and expressed their desire to eventually have nine kids. The couple have three adopted children and one biological daughter.

She was spotted sporting a slight baby bump, sparking rumors that she and Pitt are adding baby number five to their bunch.
