Angelina Jolie has played some adventurous women in her films--Lara Croft, Tomb Raider, the ex-spy in The Tourist, and of course, the Russian double agent in Salt. Recently, Brad Pitt's baby mama has taken up a pretty adventurous hobby in real life as well. She's been taking flying lessons. And why not? She certainly has the money, and apparently, even with her brood of 6 children, she seems to have the time. Recently, Angie was photographed taking a piloting lesson at Blackbushe Airport in Surrey, England. Eyewitnesses were shocked to see her son, Maddox with her.

Yes, on September 23, Angelina Jolie actually took a flying lesson with her 10-year-old son, Maddox, riding shot-gun. Apparently, that's not illegal in the UK. The question is: Is it safe? While there's no information available on how many hours of flight time student pilot Angelina Jolie has actually logged, she's obviously experienced enough to make a solo flight without an instructor. On the other hand, should anyone other than a professional pilot take a young child on a solo flight? In other words, was Angelina Jolie exposing her child to a potentially unsafe situation? Has she lost it?
According to a Hollywood Life poll, no. An overwhelming 70.86% majority of the people polled believe that Angie, as an experienced pilot, had every right to take her son on a flight with her. So there you have it. The people have spoken, and Maddox probably loved every second of the trip. You go, Angie and Maddox. Still, it would be interesting to know how Brad Pitt felt about their trip. Just wondering.
