She may not be as dark and eccentric as she was when she grabbed her previous golden Globes but Angelina Jolie is still getting some love from the Hollywood Foreign Press. She captured a "Best Actress in a Drama" nomination for her role as Marianne Pearl in the box office bomb 'A Mighty Heart.' She wasn't the only one thrown a bit of love by the notoriously unconventional body for a film flop.George Clooney grabbed a nomination for his role in "Michael Clayton." It always seems to go this way with the Globes and this year was no different. They loved "Charlie Wilson's War" as it grabbed five nominations, including ones for Best Picture and Best Actor (Tom Hanks) in the musical/comedy categories. The film opens December 21.How weird are the nominations? John C. Reilly grabs a nomination for Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Oh the humanity! No surprise here, the British costume drama "Atonement" led the field with seven nominations. Still taking it seriously? Keira Knightley also was tabbed and got her "Best Actress in a Drama" for Atonement as well. Ugh.Will Golden Globes Nominations turn into Oscar nominations? Certainly some will, but this weird list of strange combinations will not be much of a guide. Oscar nominations will be announced in late January.
