The Guinness World Records has released its 2009 edition and has ranked Hollywood's most powerful couple as -- drum roll please -- Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The super couple, commonly referred to as Brangelina, have six children.

Celebrity News Service checked to see how Guinness picked Brangelina as the most powerful Hollywood couple and they did so by a combination of Internet searches, press stories and earnings.

The birth of the couple's twins this summer was a non-stop media frenzy that kept the couple in the news on a daily basis. Brad and Angelina also sold the first pictures of their newborn twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, born in July - for a reported $14 million, the highest amount ever paid for a set of exclusive baby photos.

The super couple has come a long way quickly, because it seems like only yesterday that Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina married to Billy Bob Thornton.

Brangelina didn't top the league of highest money-making actors, however. That title went to actor Samuel L. Jackson who, with the 68 films he has taken part in over the years, topped the box office at $7.42-billion.The 2009 edition of Guinness World Records goes on sale Wednesday.
