Angelina Jolie tells Australia's Herald Sun that she may never have become pregnant had she not seen Brad Pitt's love for their adopted sons Maddox and Pax. "I never wanted to become pregnant," Angelina says in an interview with Australia's Herald Sun newspaper. "Unless I had come to know Brad and see how loving he was with Maddox and Pax. So that was a big step for me."
Jolie adopted Maddox, 7, born as Rath Vibol in Cambodia, when she was married to Billy Bob Thornton. Pitt too later adopted Maddox, who is now known as Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt. The couple adopted Pax Thien, born as Pham Quang Sang in Vietnam, on March 15, 2007 Jolie and Pitt had their first biological child, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, on 27 May 2006 in Namibia. On July 12, 2008 Jolie gave birth to twins Jolie Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
Jolie admitted bringing up twins can be stressful. "It's a little more stressful in terms of your time because you have two very tiny babies wanting your attention. But it's also so beautiful to be part of that," she explains.
However, the couple, who now has a brood of six children, half of them adopted, has learnt to manage the stress. "Once you have three or four children, having a few more isn't going to alter your lifestyle that much... Brad and I have found a way to organize our time with the children and so we stick to that."
