ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt have decided to snub the upcoming Golden Globe Awards because the Tomb Raider actress is terrified of coming face to face with Jennifer Aniston, it has been claimed.

While the Hollywood couple claimed that they wouldn’t be attending the ceremony because Brad wasn’t personally nominated.

For his film Inglourious Basterds (the movie is, however, up for Best Motion Picture, Screenplay and Director awards), sources have told OK! magazine that Jolie is worried about a showdown with Pitt’s ex-wife.

“Angie knows everyone would be looking for any interaction with Jen,” a source said. “As strong as she may look, she’s actually very scared of Jen.”

Meanwhile, insiders claim Brad and Angelina have drafted in their lawyers as they prepare to split. The pair apparently had.

A string of heated arguments over the Christmas holidays and have finally decided to call time on their high-profile, five year romance. The couple raise six children together. They have a combined fortune of almost $300 million and Angelina will apparently want 
at least 25 per cent 
of the money. They also have a huge art collection and various properties around the world.

“Ange and Brad are both sad that 
it’s come to this, but even 
they can’t stomach any more misery,” a source told the UK’s Now magazine. “They’ve decided to split for the sake of their sanity. If they don’t move on now, God knows what will happen.

“Brad’s pulling away more than Ange, but she knows she’s almost powerless to keep him. She feels her heart’s being ripped apart and she’s dreading her life having to 
go through the same thing, 
but it’s unavoidable because there’s so much at stake. “It won’t be easy to end their union. Their fortune can be conservatively estimated at $300 million and of course 
they have six kids. This will 
be the ugliest break-up Hollywood’s ever seen.”
