The 'Salt' actress - who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt - admits she occasionally pines for the anonymity she had when first starting her career.

She said: "I do miss anonymity. I lived in New York in my early 20s and I used to just walk block after block. I loved it." Angelina and her family currently divide their time between Los Angeles, New Orleans, Cambodia and France and the 35-year-old star says she cherishes her time in Asia the most.

She explained: "In Cambodia we live very locally and ride elephants and hang out in the streams and be with local people who are our friends."Although Angelina is close to her children, she admits she is aware of the negative effect her fame can have on their lives. She said: "They have more freedoms when we are not around. They do have an understanding of fame, it bothers them sometimes and it scares them sometimes."
