Sometimes people say it’s just better to let kids make their own mistakes. Other times, this proves to be a bad idea. The latest news about Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, could go either way. Apparently Angelina, who is well known for her role as Mrs Smith in the movie Mr and Mrs Smith.

As well as her role in the Tomb Raider movies, has angrily defended her 4-year-old daughter’s choice to dress like a boy. She said that it is Shiloh’s choice, not hers. Angelina went on to say that she has a very strong-willed girl who tells her what she wants to wear, adding that she just lets her be who she is.

Some people look at kids and think that they should wear a certain type of clothes. However, this is not how Angelina sees things. She wants her kids to be able to express themselves. This is an idea that is fine when they are four, but could prove to be a problem once they hit their early teen years.

She went on to say that Shiloh will cry and say please cut her hair off. She does not want to have long hair. To this, Angelina said that she is not going to leave it long just because someone thinks that she should. She wants her to do what is in her heart and what’s in her heart is to dress like that. Either way, she still thinks Shiloh is beautiful. No word on what Mr Brad Pitt thinks about his daughter dressing like a boy. However, it seems that no matter what he thinks about it, Angelina wears the pants in that family.
